Privacy Statement
Personal data collected is used to identify our clients. The information helps us to perform our role when carrying out services to support our client’s best interests.
In accordance with GDPR and The Data Protection Act 2018, we will protect your information and any details you have given us.
Information we may receive
Other providers of services may inform us of events and incidents where allegations of abuse have been reported. Any information given will be treated as confidential, only those who need to know will be consulted. Concerns as such, may be reviewed further.
We may look at information including personal data, such as complaints and Assessments. In doing so, we may request contact details for other representatives associated to the care and health services received. This is completed to ensure our services are effective and in accordance with our responsibilities, which are primarily to ensure the safety and well-being for our clients.
Email addresses
Email addresses will be used to contact other service providers and people who use our services to request information and to share advice and information.
These email addresses are not published, nor shared for marketing purposes unlawfully without a legitimate reason.
Consultations
Consultations are conducted to aid the development of our plans and policies. Responses are collected from people who use our services and other professionals involved in your care.
Information is stored for analysis purposes only to which you have the right to withdraw your consultation responses, prior to an analysis being completed. Your withdrawal request can be communicated via email support@wesleyancare.co.uk.
Website users
We may collect personal information consented to by the user for;
· When an email address has been provided for use
· When the email address provided has been selected as preferred communication method
· In receipt of survey feedback and online forms
The information would be used to improve the quality of services provided by us. Information which has not been submitted, will not be reviewed by us.
Additionally we use Google Analytics to monitor the use of our website. The information gathered here includes your IP address and a history of the web page visited. Your choice to accept or decline Cookies can be adjusted via Google Analytics settings.
NB: the information provided is subjected to Wesleyan Care Limited only. Our policy does not apply to third party websites.
Signing up to our subscriptions
We use third-party supplier ‘GoDaddy’ to operate our subscription service. If you choose to subscribe to this service, your name and email address will be shared with them. The data submitted will be handled by this supplier in the task of providing you with a requested service. Other data collected will not be subjected to the Privacy terms outlined in this statement.
Data and statistics
We collect data about organisations in relation to health and social care. Sources for data collection will be obtained from;
· The Office of National Statistics (ONS)
· Care Quality Commission (CQC)
· Mental Health Data
· Data relating to demographics
The sources of data that contain personal information will relate to demographic details mainly relating to area of residence, age, and health with no indication to personal identity.
Publishing information
We are mindful that our reports and other publications do not identify people who use our services.
Affiliations
We work with mental health specialist, doctors and advisors for advice and medical opinion when coordinating a plan for people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act.
When working with others we may share and or obtain information predominately for Assessments and to guide decisions both for the people who use our services and to utilities the company. Additionally, people may contact us to share concerns, or other information that my assist us.
Any information we receive, will be treated as confidential in accordance with data protection laws and Code of Conduct.
Your rights
Wesleyan Care Limited is data controller for all personal data processed or on behalf of us. If you are unsatisfied about how your personal data is processed, you can contact us using the contact details shown.
